As Chairman of the VGO it is with great sadness that I convey the sad news to you that Phil Reeves , Anchor Inn owner, passed away in Port Vila some 2 weeks ago. The Golfing community is deeply distressed at Phil's untimely passing and have extended their condolences to Phil's family in Perth. We were represented at the funeral in Perth last Thursday by Phil's best Vanuatu mate Dane Thornburgh, Tony Martin and Dave & Leesa Beauchamp.
Phil had signed on as you know as our naming sponsor for 2017 and we plan to work through the options in the coming week.
A further announcement re the 2017 VGO is planned for early next week but be assured it will proceed as planned.
