Andrew Campbell overcame a late charge by Brad McIntosh, Sam Lee, Peter Martin and DJ Loypur to win by Just one shot in fading light from 3 times winner Brad McIntosh.
Campbell left his 2nd at the 18th short of the green and in difficult spot to get up and down. With McIntosh staring down a 15 foot birdie chance Campbell produced a reasonable chip to leave 6 feet to the cup . McIntosh lipped out a birdie chance to leave it all up to Campabell to convert the last putt to win
Campbell made the putt grabbed the 2017 VGO title for the first time
Visiting professional were in high praise of the Port Vila Golf and Country Club layout and condition with many here for their first visit and many confirming a return visit in 2018.
